Most of the time when we think about acts of self-care and love, ideas of luxurious spa days, girls days out, and or maybe a shopping trip or two pop into our heads. Although those things are great and necessary from time to time, they really aren’t realistic and effective ways to show up for yourself consistently. I have found that activities like a manicure can surely make me feel good for a day or so but when I focus more on activities and actions that come from within, I see a continuous never ending benefit that doesn’t chip away like pretty nail polish!

To help you develop a habit of inner self-care and show up for yourself in a way that is continuous, I have compiled a list of realistic, achievable, and completely cost FREE ideas that will foster a caring and loving relationship with yourself. As you read through this list, I would encourage you to pick 2-3 to focus on at a time and then continue through the list in that fashion.
